interview tips for scholarship

ok, since spm leavers are now waiting for scholarship, i give you some tips during the interview..and the questions that might be asked...i got this from my friends who succeeded to proceed her interview in khazanah scholarship till stage four...

1. make the interviewer remember you. impressed him/her with any of your kelebihan

2. always smile. don't PANIC!

3.if can, please hide your hand because when you nervous the hand is the most obvious part

4. dont LIE !!!!

5. don't be look as arrogant. be humble and sincere. plus show ur passion to whatever field that you take

6. read newspaper to be updated

7. in the end of a interview, u guys can ask any question to the interviewer. take this opportunity and ask question that will IMPRESS him.

and this is the list of the questions:

1. Tell us about yourself and your family background.

2. What do you know about medical doctor?---for those who want to be a doctor

 3. Why do you wish to study overseas? Why not locally?

4. Why MARA and not JPA?...example only!

5. Which university you wish to study in?

6. What is your future plan?''''to show that you are planning your future

7. What will you be in the next 10 years?

8. If we don't send you to your preferred country, where else you want to go?

9. As a doctor, what would you advise to a patient who want to abort her baby because her baby has thalassemia?

10. If you do not receive the scholar, then what is your plan?

11. What is your small but important contribution in life?

12. Why do you choose to be a doctor?

13. What is your preferable specialization?

14. What is special about you?

15. What makes you different from other candidates?

16. In the past, how you would persuade others?

17. What do you know about MARA?....example only..to show that you are really interested to be offered

18. If we send you to this country, will you accept our offer?

19. What is your opinion regarding the ratio between doctors and patients in Malaysia nowadays?

20. Why do you want to join MARA?

21. Why are you looking forward to become a doctor?

22. Why are you looking forward for scholarships? Isn't your family may afford to spend for your study plan?

23. What kind of advantage do you look for in this scholarship?

24. What do you consider as your strengths? How about your weaknesses?

25. What is your greatest achievement in your entire life?

26. What type of assignment or experiment that may proofed your skills to be a great doctor?

27. When you work as a busy doctor, how do you handle your hectic and stressful life?

28. How do you cooperate and establish good relationships with colleagues and family?

29. How can you contribute to MARA in the future?...example only...

30. What is your hope for this interview?

31. Do you aware that the study fee in that country is expected to be high?

32. Why must we choose you instead of many other high achievers out there?

33. Do you read newspaper? When was the last time?

34. Then tell us the latest issue regarding medicine.

35. What do you think when local doctors received less pay compared to doctors working overseas?

36. Who's the Agong?..to show that you are concerned about your country

37. MARA is under what ministry? Who is the minister?...example ..only
